Have you ever wondered what pruning saws work best for different applications? What about chainsaw basics? Or the best tools for tree planting?
Join the Northeastern-Central Ohio chapter of Women Owning Woodlands for a “Tools of the Trade Workshop” on Saturday, December 6th at the Working Woods Learning Forest at Holden Arboretum (9805 Sperry Road in Kirtland). Coffee and cake will be served at 8:30am, and the program will begin at 9am.
We’ll discuss common tools, equipment, and safety gear for general woodland management, including invasive removal. An optional hike will be available for those who wish to stay after the program ends.
Registration is required. To register, visit tinyurl.com/2jbunpkh . A $5 donation at the door is suggested but not required. Email forestry@holdenfg.org with questions.
